^{outside  of  rosewood,  the  kahns  also  own  real  estate  in  new  york  (  an  upper  east  side  apartment  for  when  steven  travels  for  work  ),  north  carolina  (  an  outer  banks  beach  house  for  summers  down  south  ),  maine  (  a  cape  cod  villa  monica  outbid  one  of  her  friends  on  just  to  be  petty  ),   &  colorado  (  an  aspen  cabin  for  skiing  during  the  winter  months  ).   they  also  have  standing  reservations  at  various  resorts  in  the  caribbean  islands,  just  in  case  one  of  them  decides  to  take  a  spontaneous  vacation.   noel  is  partial  to  aspen,  though  he’s  got  some  fond  childhood  memories  of  summers  in  the  outer  banks.   also,  he  used  his  dad’s  new  york  apartment  to  meet  ali  on  more  than  a  few  occasions   back  when  she  was  in  hiding  &  on  the  run  —  she  still  has  a  key.}
